Got my son his first camera, and started teaching him how to take photos.

Evan was asking if he could add Splenda to my turkey sandwich last night, because he wanted to make it “sweetier”. He’s sweetier.

Played the letter game with my son, which is a lot of fun. We take scrabble letters, and then sound out together and spell different words. It always ends with stacking the game pieces on top of each other, and then knocking them around the room.

At night I can hear my son playing in his room. Sometimes he has conversations with his stuffed animals. Tonight, I heard him say, “She’s so pretty. I just don’t like pretty girls.”

My four year old son got upset the other morning because I had to go to work. He said, “Poppy! I don’t want you to go. I’m going to take momma’s car, drive to your work, take a knife, and cut your building. Then, it’ll fall down, and I’ll get you out and take you home.” It was very sweet, and a little creepy all at the same time.
